  Beautiful place! Also, it's one of the top 5 haunted places in the UK! The Hunting lodge is no less than a castle . Its magnificent and serene! The walk through the surrounding lands amidst lush green trees and soft sunlight was heavenly...To top it all, the dinner was fairly reasonable and equally awesome!The staffs were very polite and friendly.

  A wonderful country house turned into a hotel by Best Western. Attentive and friendly staff, good food, and a pleasant location set the scene. Rooms are comfortable although the en suite bathroom was a little cramped and the shower (no bath) was a squeeze and a little basic. No lift may be a negative but there is a stair lift for elderly or disabled guests. The room rate is more than reasonable. All in a pleasant place to stay.

  Food was really good and able to have restaurant items in the bar. Had lamb, cooked perfectly. Comfortable stay, good sized room. Plenty of parking. Grounds looked amazing although didn't have chance to see it all due a working visit. Staff were friendly on arrival and all very helpful.
