  I treated my Mum to afternoon tea here and it was a good eating experience. Lovely food in potentially one of the nicest settings across the local area. The selection of sandwiches and cakes were good and they were all very yummy! £10.95 is great value for the amount of food that you get. Service is also good.
  
  The scone however, was disappointing, quite hard rather than crumbly. And be warned, you're charged more to have a latte with your food; strange to say most places that serve afternoon tea are more than happy to offer any hot drink.

  absolute best place to eat. i have been here 10+ times and always had a great hearty meal. There are no rabble either which is nice.

  It's an amazing place. The food top quality. Worthy of the five star rating. I have been several times. It is never over busy, the staff attentive. Wish I could afford to go more often.
